I absolutely love this app. Brilliant for kids. Connected to adult email and you get notified everytime your child adds a friend. So u can see who they are adding. Fun for kids as can create their own person with the avatar. Basically WhatsApp but child friendly. Can video call, phone call. Send pics, videos (up to 1 min) and voice notes. Only mild flaw is it can take some time for videos and pics to send/upload. Other than that it's brilliant.
