WowCam reviews show mixed results. Common positives include a free-to-use app with useful security camera functionality when it works. Repeated negatives focus on Android reliability (crashes, cannot connect), broken or delayed notifications after updates, false motion alerts from wind/trees, account/registration hurdles, and tedious deletion of recordings. Additional frustrations include poor customer support and occasional memory/firmware setup problems. Overall, the core feature set is valued by some, but reliability and support are frequent pain points across multiple reviews.

overall this is a terrible app. There are connectivity issues , camera issues as well as detection issues. sometimes, the app will say the motion is detected when there's nobody there, and sometimes, when somebody is there, no motion is detected. it cannot detect motion from far away even though the person is showing up in camera and walking around. And when you want to save a video and save it to an obtuse location that cannot be detected on the phone. file save location cannot be changed.

Doesn't work at all. Most likely an information scam.
