It stays largely ad-free unless you choose to watch ads, and there is an ad-free purchase. However, players repeatedly report ad-related connectivity problems, a heavy ad presence, and content gated behind co-op that can be hard to access due to low multiplayer turnout. The roster is also seen as too small. Overall it’s fun and polished but has monetization and connectivity caveats.

So, I absolutely love this game. However, pretty much every single time I try to watch an ad, once the ad is over it says "Network Disconnected" and I don't get the rewards that I was watching the ad for! It happens literally 9/10 times. I've given up on it. Also, now when I try to do a certain level it just ends and says "chapter configuration not found."

I like the game a lot but I do wish they add some sort to the leaf pull for the ssr rank plants since they only show 2 or 4 per 5 days and I want to be able to gather them without having to get just enough to pull just one
