ToolMate

Your drill is in your basement and you only use it three times a year. Your neighbor has a ladder, and your club has a chainsaw. ToolMate makes visible what's already available in a group – and manages who gets it and when.

HOW IT WORKS

You enter what you want to lend: name, picture, category, and location. Others in your community see the inventory, select a time period from the calendar, and request it. You accept or decline. After returning the tool, you acknowledge it – so it's clear where every tool is.

ONLY FOR YOUR GROUP

A community is a closed group: neighborhood, circle of friends, club. You join using an invitation code. Those who aren't members can't see your tools. There's no public search function and no strangers can contact you.

FOR CLUBS

A club is a community with expanded possibilities. Tools don't belong to an individual, but to the club. There are roles: Admins manage members, inventory managers confirm loans and maintain the inventory. This keeps the club's equipment organized, even when different people are using it.

ALSO FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT AN APP

Not everyone has an app installed. If you lend something out, you enter it yourself as a manual loan – with your name and the planned return date. The tool is then booked in the calendar, and no one else reserves it at the same time.

THE OVERVIEW

"My Tools" shows separately what belongs to you, what you've borrowed, and what belongs to the club. The calendar shows when each tool is available. Notifications inform you of requests, approvals, and due returns – in the app, via push notification, and via email, depending on your settings.

WHAT YOU WON'T FIND

No ads. No in-app purchases. You and your friends sort out the lending arrangements amongst yourselves. No tracking and no sharing of your data for advertising purposes.
