User Reviews

Many reviews highlight crashes after updates, forecast inaccuracy, radar issues, Temu ads, and bothersome location/notification prompts. A minority still values the app for weather information and safety, with some praise for its long-standing presence. Top concerns are stability, accuracy, radar reliability, ads, and notification controls.

Pros

Long-time, loyal user base; many reviewers say the app is awesome and enjoyable.
Valuable weather information and alerts that help with daily planning and safety.
Radar and forecast features are a core draw and widely used by users.
Overall usefulness is acknowledged by some reviewers despite ongoing issues.

Cons

Frequent crashes/instability after updates, including devices like Pixel 10 and Pixel 7 Pro.
Forecasts are often inaccurate or inconsistent (hourly vs daily, and with other sources).
Radar features unreliable: past radar hidden, radar not launching, 24-hour lookahead inaccurate.
Intrusive Temu ads/promotions.
Annoying location/notification prompts that can't be easily disabled.

Horrendously unhelpful. The daily forecast overview is misleading, when there is severe weather expected, the daily overview shouldn't just show partly cloudy with 20% precip, but you have to go into the details to find that tidbit.
