WWGI Platform

WWGI Platform is a recovery-focused community app for people affected by gambling harm and the financial, emotional, family, and social pressure that can come with it.

The app gives approved members a safer space to stay connected, encouraged, and accountable while working toward life without gambling. Members can share recovery stories, read encouragement from others, comment supportively, and react with positive recovery-focused responses.

WWGI Platform includes practical recovery tools such as progress tracking from a last-gambled date or a never-gambled baseline, milestone encouragement, urge reset exercises, self-reflection notes, messages for your future self, support contacts, and access to official WWGI information.

The app is intentionally moderated. New members may need approval before full access. Moderators and administrators can review join requests, reports, community content, and safety events to help keep the platform focused on recovery, respect, and protection from gambling promotion, scams, harassment, or triggering content.

WWGI Platform can also connect with WWGI Shield, the companion blocking app. When both official apps are installed, they can exchange limited protected status information so members and WWGI staff can understand whether Shield is installed, active, or needs attention.

Optional supporter memberships and one-time support boosts may be offered through Google Play Billing. These are voluntary and help support app hosting, moderation, maintenance, and WWGI’s wider mission.

WWGI Platform is not a gambling service, betting service, casino, bookmaker, medical provider, therapy service, legal adviser, financial adviser, debt counsellor, or emergency service. The app provides peer support, encouragement, practical tools, and organisation-managed recovery features. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis service right away.
