Introducing the mobile application for the North African Sea Turtle Network (#NASTNet), managed by WWF North Africa. This innovative app serves as a crucial tool for a wide range of users including marine biologists, conservationists, and local communities across the region. Designed to streamline data collection and management, it empowers experts, NGO's of NASTNet, students, and researchers to monitor and track nesting sites, document stranded sea turtles, and report bycatch incidents in five North African countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt. The app adheres to NASTNet's rigorous standardized protocols, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data collected. By making these data openly accessible and free of charge, the app promotes transparency and facilitates collaborative efforts in marine turtle conservation throughout North Africa and in the Mediterranean.
