WristNav - Offline GPX Maps

WristNav is a standalone Wear OS GPS watch app with offline maps, GPX navigation, and hike tracking, no phone needed, no signal required.

Offline Maps
Download offline maps directly to your watch for GPS navigation without a signal. WristNav uses OpenStreetMap data for regions worldwide — once downloaded, maps work fully offline whether you're hiking, running, or exploring. Choose from Light, Fjord, and Dark map styles, plus Minimal variants for cleaner viewing and faster glancing. Custom map themes are also supported.

Watch Maps & GPS Navigation
The watch maps view is the heart of the app, giving you full GPS navigation and map control from your wrist. Compass or zoom controls can be shown or hidden for a cleaner view. Map controls can be placed on the left or right side, and the top bar can stay visible or hide automatically. Rotary and touch-bezel zoom are supported where your watch provides it.

GPX Route Navigation
Import a GPX route and follow it directly on your watch. Live distance remaining, route progress, elevation profile with cursor, and remaining climb are shown as you navigate. WristNav tracks your position more intelligently on loops and out-and-back sections to reduce jumping to the wrong part of the route.

Hike Tracker, Run Tracker & Activity Recording
Use WristNav as a hike tracker, walk tracker, or run tracker with full GPS tracking. Stats such as time, moving time, distance, pace, heart rate, step count, altitude, ascent, and descent are available during recording. Auto-pause, countdown start, lap splits, recording interval, track colour, and track width can all be adjusted on the watch.

Configurable Stats Pages
Choose exactly what you want to see during an activity. Stats pages are fully configurable and labels can be shown or hidden. Available stats include time, moving time, distance, average pace, lap pace, lap distance, current heart rate, average heart rate, max heart rate, steps, speed, altitude, ascent, descent, navigation distance, and calories.

Complications
WristNav includes watch face complications so you can see key stats directly on your watch face — distance, pace, heart rate, elevation, and navigation progress — without opening the app. Complications update live during activities for glanceable insights.

WristNav Companion App
WristNav includes an optional companion phone app. Manage GPX routes, use the planning page to create routes, organise files, and send routes to your watch before you head out. Finished activities can also be uploaded to Strava directly from the companion app.

WristNav is built for Wear OS watches that work standalone, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, and any Wear OS device with GPS. Everything runs on the watch itself.
