Drop zips straight from cloud downloads into your folder — no unzipping, no renaming. RetroArcade unpacks them automatically at launch. When a game needs a BIOS (Neo Geo: neogeo.zip, Konami GX: konamigx.zip), the app tells you exactly which file.

Bring your own legally-owned ROM files and, with the one-time MAME pack installed, these all run. (Neo Geo titles also need your neogeo.zip BIOS in the same folder.)
Fighting fans get Street Fighter II, The King of Fighters ’95–’98, Samurai Shodown II, Fatal Fury Special and Darkstalkers. Beat ’em ups: Final Fight, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Captain Commando, Dungeons & Dragons. Shooters: Galaga, 1942, Raiden, DoDonPachi, Strikers 1945, R-Type. Action and puzzle: Metal Slug 1–3, Snow Bros., Bubble Bobble, Pang, Puzzle Bobble, Three Wonders, Ghouls’n Ghosts, Mega Man: The Power Battle. And the arcade originals — Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders. (Each title is a trademark of its owner, listed only to describe compatibility.)

RetroArcade is an emulator only. It does not include, sell or download any commercial game ROMs or BIOS files — the only bundled game is µCity, a freely licensed open-source homebrew sample. Use only files you are legally entitled to (your own board dumps, freely licensed homebrew).

A banner ad appears on the game-selection screen only and never interferes with gameplay. For arcade sets, current-MAME-generation ROM sets are recommended.
