WORKS AMAZING, has MULTIPLE functionalities . act 1.) you can make it appear #at status bar #act 2.) clicking on it's search column would bring on keyboard without opening the app & would show meaning at the same window (currently open) BY THE WAY THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED 👻 😱 😤 🙏 😬 😈 😓 😲 😵. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😂

Always gives you a perfect word definition with a perfect example usage. No ads or tracking or data collection. Every feature makes sense and has been useful to me on occasions. I installed the paid version of the app today: WordWeb audio. I am sure, it will be similarly great. It's a small gesture for the amount of time it saved me over the years.

2026-08-06	Er*****	For us, the visually impaired: your "dark theme" uses only light-gray text on a darker-gray background, whereas the dark theme on most other apps employs WHITE text on a BLACK background. (More contrast = more legibility.) Please re-vamp the theme, or else, allow the user to change the background color behind the text, in the main portion of the screen? (Currently your allowing the color of the top bar alone to be changed does not improve legibility or accessibility, as you must already know.)

2026-07-23	Sh*****	A fantastic app that leaves little to be desired. Small, fast, ad-free, and customizable. Doesn't ask for unnecessary permissions and does not claim to collect any personal information either. Although, I would've appreciated an option to display closely matching words when I get the spelling wrong as it helps when I'm looking up esoteric words.
