2024-10-01	D.*****	Not a helpful app. If you do not know the spelling of the word, you need to thank your lucky stars if it displays the correct word because, most often than not, it won't. Wordweb is another matter. Your wrong spelling would be corrected. Wordweb is a better option.

2024-04-24	An*****	We use this app almost daily for crosswords. I had a problem with it not opening definitions but I identified that the cache needed to be cleared and problem now solved.

2024-02-29	Pe*****	Easy to use, very fast, and supports complex searching if you want it. The definitions are accurate and succinct. The pronunciations are clear and helpful. If you copy a word from another app, or your own writing, then open chambers, it will immediately look it up for you. Of course, it works offline. A reliable, trustworthy and fast dictionary app.

2023-05-15	th*****	I spent $10 on this and can't scroll through every word in a particularly letter. It's just search a word and get an in-depth description of its origin and meaning. I still want to scroll through a dictionary and study/memorize every word. Why can't I do this after spending $10???

2021-08-11	Ba*****	Very pleased. I love that I can easily get to word definitions from other apps, and the x-ref feature fits very well with the Chambers Thesaurus. Well worth the money.

2020-09-22	St*****	This is my favorite British English dictionary app. It is especially helpful to me as an American when reading books from the UK. It has a great feature to help find answers for crossword puzzles when you only know a few letters. In addition to the dictionary, I highly recommend the Chambers thesaurus app. They are a wonderful word pair well worth the cost!

2020-08-31	Pa*****	I bought my first Chambers dictionary in 1973 ("New Edition 1972") and I have used it much over the years. The best one volume English dictionary I have found. I have used it as an app for almost three years and it is as good as ever
