WODBuddy was born from years of experience in the CrossFit community. After training at numerous gyms around the world, one thing became clear: the administrative side of running a gym is costly and fragmented. Managing memberships, scheduling, programming, and payments often requires multiple tools that quickly add up.

Having experienced gyms using PushPress, Zen Planner, SugarWOD, BTWB, and others, we've seen firsthand how complex and expensive gym management software can become. We believe there's an opportunity to create a simpler, more accessible alternative—one that supports gyms without adding unnecessary financial strain.

Many newer or smaller gyms operate on tight margins, and paying $100–$300+ per month for essential management tools can be a real challenge, especially on top of affiliate fees, rent, and equipment costs. And from a member perspective, dealing with unstable apps, slow interfaces, or unexpected downtime can be frustrating. Our goal is to address both sides of this experience.
