WKB Teleprompter

WKB Teleprompter is an offline Android teleprompter for video creators, teachers, presenters and production teams. Read a script on a phone or tablet, use mirror mode with teleprompter glass, and control playback yourself or from a second device.

The free app includes a local script library, text editing, TXT and DOCX script import, adjustable playback speed, text size and margins, and Bluetooth presenter control through compatible HID keyboards and remotes. Second-device Wi-Fi control is free for two connected Android devices in total: one Host and one Follower. No WKB account is needed for these local features.

WKB Pro adds voice following in Russian, English and Spanish. Download the language pack, allow microphone access, choose your script and press Play. The text adapts to your reading pace. Advanced settings let you adjust how gently the app crosses blank lines and slows before unread text moves away.

Speech recognition runs on the Android device; microphone audio is not sent to a speech service. Voice following needs a downloaded pack and valid Pro access. It works best with one reader in a relatively quiet room; you can pause or adjust the position manually at any time.

Pro also supports three or more connected Android devices, a computer operator remote, and Web Studio with a cloud library, editor and browser teleprompter. WKB sign-in and explicit linking of your Play subscription are needed for cloud and Web Studio access. Local Android Pro does not require a separate WKB account. Android device synchronization uses an encrypted local connection on the same Wi-Fi network and works without Internet. Both devices must use the updated app and pair again when upgrading from the old connection protocol. The computer remote opens on our HTTPS website and requires Internet on the Host and computer; it does not require a WKB account.

WKB relays the script title, playback state and controls, without receiving the full script through the remote feature.

Choose a monthly or annual auto-renewing Pro subscription. Eligible new subscribers can start with a seven-day free trial. Google Play shows your local price, trial eligibility and renewal terms before purchase. Manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play. The free app may show a WKB promotion at launch; playback stays free of advertisements and promotional overlays.
