Thinking it was my headend swapped the camera and app to another vehicle and it does the same. Not the camera.either. Its the app...

User Reviews
The XCDVR1 app offers decent video recording and ADAS features for car cameras but suffers from multiple issues reported by users. Common complaints include inability to turn off annoying ADAS voice alerts, frequent recording failures and pauses, inaccurate GPS speed and location data, and poor video management capabilities requiring SD card removal. While it works well on some devices, the app crashes on others and lacks flexibility such as video downloading and camera orientation options. Overall, users find the app quirky and unreliable for consistent dashcam functionality.
Pros
- App provides decent video recording quality when functioning properly.
- Works well on some Android head units (e.g., Samsung Galaxy Tab E).
- Includes ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) feature, though with issues.
- Ability to record video and sound from car camera.
- Available as an APK file for direct installation on Android car stereos.
Cons
- LANE departure and ADAS warnings can be annoying and cannot be turned off, even when app is stopped.
- App often fails to record video properly, pauses during recording, or stops recording altogether.
- GPS speed and location data are inaccurate or not properly recorded by the app.
- Cannot easily manage or download videos/photos within the app; footage must be accessed by removing SD card and using a computer.
- App is not universally compatible and may crash on some Android versions (e.g., Android 8.0).
Recent reviews
This should have some type of cloud database for user to manage their videos/photos from their car through their phone. This app comes with my car camcorder radio, but I am unable to manage the footage from my phone
