Hit Counter

Hit Counter listens for ball-hit sounds through your phone microphone and counts each hit during practice.

I originally built Hit Counter for beach bat and ball practice, then realised the same simple counter could be useful for other rallies, drills, and ball-hit practice sessions.

Use it for solo drills, rallies, rhythm work, or any session where you want a quick count without touching the phone between hits.

Consistency scoring is based on the variation between hit intervals. Steadier timing earns a higher consistency score.

Privacy:
Hit Counter uses the microphone only while you press Start and the app is actively listening. Audio is processed on the device for hit detection. The app does not upload recordings, store audio, show ads, or use third-party analytics.
