Find the Bird

Find the Bird is a casual mobile game for Android. The player sees a nature-themed screen (forest, meadow, or countryside) with several bird emojis placed at random. One bird is chosen as the target, and the goal is to tap the correct bird among the others. The game uses only emojis for birds—eagle, owl, parrot, swan, flamingo, chicken, rooster, duck, and turkey—with no external game engines or complex graphics.

The game has ten levels. Difficulty increases by showing more birds, mixing similar-looking birds, and reducing spacing between them. Each level shows the target bird at the top and is completed when the player taps the right one. Progress (unlocked level and completed levels) is saved locally and restored when the app is reopened, without using SharedPreferences.

The visual style is wildlife and nature: green and earth tones, soft gradients, light blur, and rounded cards with soft shadows. The UI is clean and calm, not childish. Birds appear with a fade-in; a correct tap triggers a gentle scale animation, and a wrong tap triggers a shake. Screen transitions are smooth.

After completing a level, the player sees a “Level Complete” message and can choose “Next Level” or “Level Selection.” From the home screen, the player can start the current level or open a level grid to pick any unlocked level. The app runs in portrait orientation and uses English for all text.

The project is implemented in Flutter with a clear structure: main entry, screens (home, game, level select), models (progress, birds, level config), widgets (nature background, target display, bird tiles), and a file-based progress service. The result is a working, readable app with a consistent wildlife theme and reliable progress saving.
