Download the version before the most recent and disable auto update for this game in Google play store. No more bugs, can actually see further then 2 blocks, and the helmet upgrades work.

10 years later and this still hasn't been fixed. You try to use the crafting station and it just gives a white box in the middle of the screen with an infinite loading circle and the station dimmed out in the background. Once this happens you have to close the game to do anything otherwise you're just stuck there forever
