The Whizz App is a companion application to the Whizz spacer to correct inhalation technique. The Whizz spacer is a simple and intuitive solution to improve the management of chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) by helping users of metered dose inhalers (MDI) increasing the availability of medication delivered into the lungs while tracking intake data to augment the management and assessment of treatment outcomes. The Whizz is the only solution in the market that addresses technique and compliance at the same time, solving the challenges faced by 7 in 10 patients, who struggle with ineffective and inconsistent inhaled medication intake. Through trials, we have shown that the Whizz helped patients overcome these hurdles, leading to reduced symptoms and better quality of life.
How it works?

The Whizz Spacer hardware provides immediate and actionable feedback to users with LED indicators that light up while they are inhaling their medication. This device intuitively reinforce correct inhalation technique with each breath.
The Whizz mobile application, pairs with the Whizz Spacer to provides daily alerts to simplify the treatment regimen and a gamification function to help patients meet their goals. The data collected can be shared with doctors, providing them with accurate and objective data to conveniently track progress and adjust treatment more effectively.

The Whizz spacer is a Valved Holding Chamber (VHC) that is to be used together with a metered dose inhaler (MDI) under the care or treatment of a physician or licensed healthcare professional. The device is intended to administer aerosolized medication from the MDI to the patient. It also acts as a solution to improving the compliance to regular medication as well as guides inhalation technique.
