Wekker - alarm, folder, detail

Wekker is an alarm app that focuses on the essentials.

You can quickly create alarms and organize multiple alarms into folders.
Repeating alarms can be set in detail by day, week, month, or year, and each alarm can be configured not to ring on selected days off or Korean public holidays.

App Permission Guide

Wekker uses the following permissions to provide stable alarm behavior.
You can still open and use the app without granting some permissions, but certain alarm features may be limited, or alarms may not ring properly depending on your device settings.

Required Permissions

Notification Permission
Required to display alarm notifications and 30-minute-before alarm reminders.

Exact Alarm Permission
Required to schedule alarms so they ring at the exact time set by the user.

Full-Screen Notification Permission
Required to display the alarm screen even when the device is locked or the screen is off.

Optional Permissions

Display Over Other Apps Permission
Used to display the alarm dismissal screen more reliably while you are using other apps.

Battery Optimization Exemption Permission
Used to reduce cases where alarms may be delayed or fail to ring due to device battery optimization.

Do Not Disturb Access Permission
Used to guide settings so alarm notifications and sounds are not restricted by Do Not Disturb mode.

Music and Audio File Access Permission
Used when the user selects a music file stored on the device as an alarm sound.
On Android 13 and later, audio file permission is used. On Android 12 and earlier, external storage read permission is used.

Internet Permission
Used to update Korean public holiday information.
