Baby Poo Check - Pediatrician

This app helps ESPGHAN working group pediatricians to collect and classify children's stool images based on stool color to develop an early detection system for biliary atresia.

Biliary atresia is a rare liver disease occurring in 1 : 50.000 newborn/infants, initially presenting with prolonged jaundice (yellow skin color). Unlike “physiological” jaundice, biliary atresia almost invariably causes lack of biliary pigment in the stools, with whitish, clay-like appearance (hypo-acholic stools). This app refers to Franciscovich stool chart.

This application is meant to collect photos in order to set the app software. Though, it is reserved to a ESPGHAN working group pediatricians. If you have not been invited yet, please contact us.
