3D & CAD Viewer

3D & CAD Viewer helps you open and inspect 3D models, CAD files, 3D printing files and point clouds on your Android phone or tablet.

Open popular formats including STL, STEP / STP, DXF, GLB, G-code, glTF, OBJ and FBX. Whether you need an STL viewer before 3D printing, a STEP viewer for a CAD model, a DXF viewer for a 2D drawing or a GLB viewer for a portable 3D scene, you can preview the file with simple touch controls.

HOW OFFLINE VIEWING WORKS

Core formats open on your device without an additional viewer-engine download:
• STL, OBJ and PLY
• GLB and self-contained glTF
• FBX, DAE / COLLADA, USDZ and VOX
• DXF 2D drawings
• G-code and GCO toolpaths
• LAS, PCD and XYZ point clouds

Once the app is installed, local files in these core formats can be viewed without an internet connection.

The following advanced formats require your permission to download a format-specific viewer engine the first time you use them:
• STEP / STP
• IGES / IGS
• BREP / BRP
• Rhino 3DM
• 3MF
• WRL / VRML
• LAZ

An internet connection is required for that one-time engine download. After the relevant engine has been downloaded and stored in the app, you can open supported files for that engine offline. Only the viewer engine is downloaded; your selected model or CAD file remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

IMPORTANT FORMAT DETAILS

• glTF support is intended for self-contained .gltf files. A glTF file that depends on separate .bin, image or texture files may not open completely. Use GLB when you need a single packaged file.
• DXF support is for text-based 2D drawings containing common LINE, LWPOLYLINE, CIRCLE and ARC entities. The app is not a full CAD editor and does not support every DXF entity or 3D DXF object.
• STEP, IGES and BREP files are converted to viewable mesh geometry by the optional CAD engine. The app displays the resulting geometry; it does not provide CAD editing or manufacturing validation.
• Support can vary with the exporter, file version, encoding, compression, external dependencies, file complexity and available device memory.
• DWG, DWT, IFC, BLEND, 3DS, SKP and X3D are not supported.

Rendered geometry, toolpaths and reported dimensions are approximate and must not be relied upon for manufacturing, construction or engineering decisions. Always verify important information against the original source file and the software that created it.
