Key Features
Recording in Your Spare Moments
Before you forget, take notes on this very moment in your spare time and save photos (up to 2). You can take photos directly with the camera or select from your album. Press the microphone button to speak—what you say becomes text. You can freely change the date and time, allowing you to record past moments as well. Touching a photo allows you to view it in full screen, and you can save it directly to your gallery. If desired, you can enable "Things Eaten" and "Tags" in the settings to break down your records into smaller segments.
Household Account Book
You can record the money spent at that moment while writing your diary. If you write down the category (e.g., Food, Transportation, Shopping) along with the item name and amount, the category you've already entered will auto-complete, speeding up your next input. Today's total and this month's cumulative total are visible at a glance on the calendar, and opening "Details" allows you to switch between date and category to view all items. Tapping an item takes you directly to the corresponding entry. It also displays a comparison with the same period last month, allowing you to quickly check your spending habits. Organize your expenses easily with your diary, without the need for a separate budgeting app.
View Daily
Gather your diary entries written in your spare time onto a single screen to complete the story of your day. Try adding a title that summarizes your day in a single phrase (the phrase you wrote is also displayed on the corresponding date in the calendar). You can also edit each memo immediately by tapping it. Entries with photos are transformed into sentimental cards with an instant photo feel, perfectly sized for sharing on Instagram Posts, Stories, and Reels. Move, enlarge, and rotate your photos to create your own unique composition.
Building a Recording Habit
Writing consistently is the hardest part. A gentle daily evening notification helps you maintain your recording habit (turn it off or change the time in Settings). The calendar displays how many consecutive days you have written and how many days you have recorded so far, allowing you to experience both the fun of continuing and the sense of accomplishment as your entries grow.
Photo of the Day and Collage Cards
Leave a photo that symbolizes your day. If you tap 'Set Photo of the Day' on a photo attached to your diary, it is set immediately, and the week and month are neatly collected in the calendar's 'Weekly Photos' and 'Monthly Photos' sections. You can also tap on an empty date to fill it in on the spot. The collected photos are assembled into a sentimental collage card without any parts being cut off, which can be saved and shared in a vertical format ideal for Instagram Stories and Reels. If you have two or more photos, you can also create a vertical video (timelapse), or select a specific time period to group them together for a longer duration.
Word Cloud
Meet the word cloud created by your diary. It displays frequently appearing words in the size, allowing you to look back at what you filled your days with over the past week, month, and three months at a glance. You can select a time period from 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or all, or set your own start and end dates. When viewing past months or weeks on the calendar, a word cloud for that period also appears. Tapping a word immediately finds the diary entry containing it, and you can also save it as an image to share. All word analysis takes place within your phone, ensuring your diary entries do not leave the app.
Calendar
You can check the dates you wrote a diary at a glance. In the monthly calendar, you can preview the entries and scheduled notifications for each date, allowing you to see how the month has passed at a glance without having to open each page individually. The date you wrote a diary and today are clearly marked; tapping a date displays the entry for that day below, and tapping it again takes you directly to the "View All Entries for That Day" feature. You can switch between Monthly, Weekly, List, and Photo views. In List view, you can view only the days you wrote a diary, sorted by the most recent, making it easy for infrequent users to find their records. In Photo view, you can collect your photos by date and quickly skip to the desired time. In the weekly view, "Message of the Day" and scheduled notifications are displayed together. You can collect and add today's photos directly from the 'Photos' tab in both the weekly and monthly sections. If you keep a household budget, today's total and this month's cumulative total are displayed right below the calendar.
Weekly Review
Every Monday, you look back on the past week on a single screen. It gathers your diary entries, scheduled appointments, and expenses from that week at a glance, and also shows you how much things have changed compared to the previous week. You can continue writing today's diary right there. You can also compile the "Photos of the Day" from that week into a time-lapse video to save or share. This small habit of organizing your week makes the next week clearer.
Schedules and Notifications
"Appointment at 11 AM tomorrow," "Meeting next Tuesday"—set a short one-line phrase and time to add as an event. If you turn on notifications, you will receive a push notification at that time; you can also simply write down the event without a notification. You can set repetitions and end dates for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly events. Missed notifications are grouped together and displayed when you open the app.
Search
"What did I eat back then?", "When was that appointment?" — Enter a word you remember to instantly find related diary entries. Searched words are highlighted in the results like a highlighter so they stand out at a glance. It quickly displays the last year first, followed by older records. You can also filter to view only the records you want, such as "Food Only / Tags Only / Household Account Only."
Backup and Recovery
Keep your precious diary safe. You can select a specific period to export as a Word file or back up your entire data. Even if you change phones or reinstall the app, you can easily restore your data using the backup file. Save it wherever you prefer, such as Google Drive or email.
Instantly Save Daily Diary
Save just that day's entry directly from the calendar as a Word file, or select a specific period to export together. Store it conveniently in Google Drive.
D-Day
Check at a glance how many days are left until your special day. If you register important dates like trips, exams, or anniversaries, a countdown like "Trip D-30" will appear every time you write a diary entry. You can register up to two entries.
D-Day Screen Theme
Supports the eye-friendly 'Dark Paper' Dark Mode. You can follow system settings or customize the brightness to light or dark.
App Lock
Keep safe stories you don't want anyone to see in Tteumteum Diary. It is password-protected, and on iOS, you can also use Face ID. Even if the app locks while you are writing or editing, unlocking it preserves your previous state.
