PCP Patient

The PCP Patient App is a secure patient portal designed to work with your treating physician and care facility to securely share your medical records. It ensures privacy by requiring consent to the privacy policy and terms of use, stores data exclusively in the provider's IT system (in a dedicated client), and uses FHIR with SSL encryption and bearer-token authentication to protect access.

Features include an overview of upcoming and completed appointments with detailed information, access to released findings (PDFs) that can be printed or forwarded, in-app photo capture, and questionnaire entry that is automatically uploaded to the central IT system via FHIR. Physicians can initiate a video conference through the app using WebRTC for a peer-to-peer connection. When requested, it can synchronize steps and body weight via Health Connect, with permissions strictly limited to the described functions.
