The app is meant to streamline registry management with item scanning, but suffers from widespread scanner failures, sign-in crashes, slow and unstable navigation, and an incomplete catalog. Repeated issues include black camera screens, items not found by SKU, and overall unusability, causing many to prefer the browser. Key improvements needed are reliable scanning, stable login, faster performance, and a complete, searchable catalog.

Pros

It lets you toggle between multiple registries and view items you’ve already added.
The concept provides a mobile workflow for managing a West Elm registry on the go.

Cons

In-store scanner/camera functionality is broken or unusable (black screen, cannot scan items).
App signs in or stability issues: crashes or blank screens requiring customer service or rendering features unusable.
Very slow performance and unstable navigation (pages refresh or jump, long delays adding items).
Catalog/inventory is incomplete: many items are not on the site/app or cannot be found by SKU.
UI/UX problems: difficult navigation, perceived reliance on desktop versions, and readability/design problems.

App is unusable beyond being able to toggle between registries and just look at what you already have on them. If you try to add new items by searching on each site or even going through the menu it blanks out and says to call customer service. Strange that the app uses the desktop versions of the websites too. Has potential but overall has been very frustrating and I'd rather just use my laptop.
