The Washashores app is an interactive resource for finding the best restaurants on Cape Cod and the best options for nighttime entertainment. The app contains a searchable database of more than 100 restaurants that have been personally reviewed and approved by the husband-and-wife team who created the app. That database can be searched by food type, location, activities offered, and more. Looking for the best Italian restaurants on the Cape? The app will help you find them. Looking for a good pub experience, or fine-dining options, or venues with a water view? The app will help you find those too! It even gives you the ability to create your own list of favorite restaurants so that you can easily keep track of the places you like best.

The app also contains a vast amount of information about Cape Cod nightlife, including extensive information about live music events, karaoke and trivia nights, places to go dancing, and more. A "Picks of the Week" list is updated every week, and two different event calendars provide information on upcoming shows, concerts, theater performances, fairs and festivals, arts and crafts classes, and more. There is an interactive list of Cape Cod bands, a Community Forum feature for sharing information with other Washashores community members, and a "What To Do Tonight?" feature that provides lots of information about entertainment options for any given night of the week. The app makes extensive use of photos and videos and is complemented by an affiliated Facebook page with nearly 6,000 followers and a Washashores website.

ABOUT THE CREATORS: Steve and Audrey, the founders of Washashores, moved to Cape Cod in 2022 and quickly made it their goal to discover all that the Cape has to offer in terms of dining and nighttime entertainment. They initially created a Facebook page and website as a way to share that journey of discovery with others, be they tourists, native Cape Codders, or fellow washashores like themselves. With the release of this app, they are taking their ability to share that information to a whole new level.
