Pros
- Successfully connects to SMB/CIFS network shares and allows access through Android's document provider system.
- Easy to set up and configure network shares for use with various apps.
- Enables integration with the native Android Files app and third-party apps for seamless access to network storage.
- Open-source and free, with no ads or bloat, providing a lightweight and functional solution.
- Works well with media apps like VLC and Poweramp, supporting playback and folder management.
Cons
- User interface is outdated and lacks polish, making navigation and usage less intuitive.
- Some users experience difficulty accessing or browsing files despite seeing folder structures, indicating inconsistent file visibility.
- Limited built-in file browsing functionality; users desire a native file browser or better integration.
- Compatibility issues with certain routers, NAS devices, or emulator apps prevent full directory scanning or access.
- Lack of clear guidance within the app on how to browse or download files, causing confusion among some users.
Recent reviews
Was able to configure and successfully test a connection to my cifs drive - but there was no (apparent) way to actually browse and access the files. Android 14 on Moto g55.

Functionally, the app works as expected. 👌🏾👍🏾 But it really needs an interface-lift. Icons and GUI look like '90s era clipart.
