It opens ZIP, RAR, and 7Z files. It makes new ZIPs. You can even lock one with a password before sending it to someone. That's pretty much it — no weird extra stuff bolted on.

Why we built it this way
A lot of archive apps ask to see basically everything on your phone, just to open one file. That always felt like a lot for unzipping something. Zip Toolbox only touches the exact file or folder you pick, nothing more. And everything happens right there on your phone — nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
