Nixie Tube inspired retro clock widget.

Features & Capabilities

Nixie Tube Clock Widget displays the current time/date and helps set up an alarm.

Features:

The app uses custom fonts created especially for this project,
to preserve the battery and to prevent the Android system from stopping the widget from working.

This widget was tested on many physical devices with no fail.
However, I cannot guarantee proper functionality on all devices.
If you experience any issues, please contact me before you post a review.
I am also open to any suggestions about new features you wish to see on this simple widget (a few of them found their way thanks to user's feedback, so don't hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas ;) )

Users like the realistic nixie look, customization (LED/background) and responsive developer support. Common problems are freezing/stopping (needing re-add), resizing/layout glitches (wrong default size and misaligned digits), occasional install/widget-not-appearing on some devices, and digits that appear too dim by default.

Good customization options (LED intensity, background transparency) — more in Pro
Responsive developer support — fixes and replies reported
Clean/lean widget (no ads reported) and works well when phone background/task settings allow it to run

Cons

Widget can freeze or stop updating time; sometimes requires re-adding or tapping to restart
Resizing and layout problems on some launchers (wrong default size, numbers misalign or glitch when resized)
May not appear or install/activate correctly on some devices/Android versions (users report not finding the widget)
Digits can be too dim by default — brightness/intensity may need adjustment

Really like it, for someone that remembers real Nixie Tubes, and now built several clocks with them. Looks very realistic. I had to tweet some setting on phone,to get it going and update time, all fine now Can't understand why so many negative reviews. Don't really pay for apps often, but I'll buy the pro one, for additional features.
