By: Voxist
Advanced visual voicemail with voicemail to text & customized greetings.

Features & Capabilities

Voxist is an intelligent voicemail app that replaces your carrier’s voicemail with a visual interface, voicemail-to-text transcription, and email delivery. Read voicemails on any device, in 70+ languages, and keep messages forever with unlimited storage. It’s designed for both business and personal use, helping you manage calls efficiently—even when you’re in a meeting or on the go.

Highlights include personalized greetings (even greeting-by-name), ad-free listening, and automatic alerts for new messages. Choose from Free, Premium, or Pro plans for more numbers, more languages, and more greetings. Voxist is easy to set up—forward missed calls to Voxist and start reading instead of listening.

User Reviews

Users value Voxist for visual voicemail and readable transcripts, along with ease of use and some carrier-related benefits. However, recurring concerns include inconsistent transcription accuracy, an auto-transcribe/credit system that can be costly, reliability bugs, and limited carrier support. The app shows strong potential when transcripts are accurate and on supported devices, with decent support, but stability and pricing concerns limit broad satisfaction.
Pros
  • Readable transcripts and visual voicemail that make voicemails easier to understand and access
  • Easy-to-use interface with stable performance on a variety of devices
  • Useful as a replacement when carriers don't support visual voicemail
  • Helpful customer support that can resolve problems when contacted
  • Free transcription credits and tiered plans offer initial value for trying the service
Cons
  • Transcription quality is inconsistent and often inaccurate across messages
  • Auto-transcription cannot be turned off and consumes transcription credits for each new voicemail
  • Pricing and the credits/coins model can feel costly and confusing with limited transcriptions included
  • Reliability issues and bugs such as unread counts being wrong, unexpected sign-outs, and potential loss of messages
  • Carrier compatibility limitations (not all carriers/equipment support Voxist, e.g., Verizon)

My visual voicemail supported by Samsung stopped working. I liked having the ability to see a readout of my voicemails. I went shopping & found this application. it works great. I am enjoying the free plan which, so far, all that I need. I do like that the voicemails are transcribed in the app & I don't have to go to my email, although it's a nice backup. I highly recommend this, check out of it works for you too!
