Voltura

DISCLAIMER: Voltura is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or representing any government, ministry, regulator or public authority. Voltura does not provide or facilitate government services. All EV charging data is republished from the public sources listed in full below, and all location lookups used to power search are also listed in full below.

Voltura shows EV charging stations and their live availability, so you can find a free charger before you set off. Whether you're on your daily commute or planning a long trip, Voltura gives you a list of chargers in your city — sorted by availability.

── WHAT VOLTURA DOES ──
• Lists chargers sorted by live availability
• Search by city to plan ahead
• Filter by street address
• Shows connector types (Type 2, CCS2, CHAdeMO, Tesla) and power levels
• Displays pricing where available
• Live status updates for supported regions

── WHERE THE CHARGING DATA COMES FROM ──
Voltura does not collect or estimate charging data itself. Every listing is republished from one of these official open sources, and each country's source is also shown and linked inside the app on the About screen:

Finland — Fintraffic · Digitraffic AFIR charging network API (CC 4.0 BY). Live EVSE status and tariff data. https://digitraffic.fi

France — IRVE consolidated dataset, data.gouv.fr / transport.data.gouv.fr (Licence Ouverte 2.0). Live EVSE status from the IRVE dynamic feed. https://transport.data.gouv.fr

Germany — OpenStreetMap (ODbL) + Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY), with spatial filtering via the Overpass API. https://openstreetmap.org

Spain — OpenStreetMap (ODbL) + Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY), with spatial filtering via the Overpass API. https://openstreetmap.org

Italy — OpenStreetMap (ODbL) + Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY), with spatial filtering via the Overpass API. https://openstreetmap.org

Austria — E-Control Ladestellenverzeichnis. Live EVSE status and tariff data. © E-Control. https://e-control.at

Poland — EIPA (Ewidencja Infrastruktury Paliw Alternatywnych), operated by UDT (Urząd Dozoru Technicznego). Live EVSE status and PLN tariff data. https://eipa.udt.gov.pl

United Kingdom · Romania — Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY). https://openchargemap.org

Sweden · Norway — NOBIL, operated by Enova and Norsk Elbilforening (CC 4.0 BY). https://nobil.no

Norway (government source) — Enova, the Norwegian government enterprise co-operating NOBIL, official site: https://www.enova.no

More countries may be added in future updates. Any new country will be listed here with its source.

── WHERE CITY SEARCH LOOKUPS COME FROM ──
When you type a city name, Voltura needs to turn it into a map location before it can query the charging-data source above. For Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, this lookup is done via OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service (CC-BY-SA, © OpenStreetMap contributors). https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org

Finland and Poland are not listed here because their official sources above support searching by city natively, so no separate geocoding lookup is made for them.

── HONEST ABOUT ACCURACY ──
Voltura never invents, estimates or fabricates charger data — what you see is what the source published. Charger availability can change at any time and may be out of date or incorrect at the source. Always verify availability at the station. Voltura is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data.

── SIMPLE BY DESIGN ──
No account. No sign-up. Open the app, pick your country and start finding chargers. Your preferences are stored locally on your device — we don't collect or sell your data.
