Inferno Vault

Concept & theme Inferno Vault is a match-3 puzzle game set in an ancient volcanic world. Players align tiles in an 8×8 grid to collect relics, score points, and progress through 120 levels. The atmosphere is dark, powerful, and premium: deep blacks, magma reds, and obsidian tones with no cartoon style. The game focuses on clear goals, strategic moves, and a sense of uncovering long-lost treasures in a lava-filled vault.

Core gameplay You swap adjacent tiles to form lines of three or more of the same type, horizontally or vertically. Matches of four or more award bonus points; five and six tiles grant higher multipliers. Tiles remove and refill instantly with no animations. Each move is validated so the board always keeps at least two possible matches; if not, the grid reshuffles automatically. Levels mix score targets, limited moves, and collect objectives (e.g. gathering a set number of crystals).

Progression & content The campaign is split into four tiers: levels 1–30 focus on score; 31–60 add move limits; 61–90 introduce collect goals; 91–120 combine objectives and encourage large (5+) matches. Levels unlock in order. A full-screen level select shows all 120 stages with locked and completed states and star ratings. Winning a level opens a “Relic Secured” dialog with score, moves used, stars, and buttons for Next Level or Level Select; failing shows “Eruption Failed” with Retry and Level Select.

Meta & persistence The app includes a one-time welcome screen (“Enter the Vault”), a home screen with Play, Level Select, Achievements, and Settings, plus over thirty achievements (e.g. first level, 30/60/120 levels, large matches, perfect relic). All progress is stored locally with Hive: onboarding, unlocked levels, stars, scores, achievements, and settings (sound, theme). Three themes are available: Obsidian, Magma Red, and Dark Ember. No animations or transitions are used; the UI is static and immediate.

Technical & positioning Inferno Vault is built with Flutter, uses null-safe Dart, and follows a clean architecture with separate game logic. It is designed as a production-ready, single-language (English) match-3 with a consistent volcanic-relics identity: powerful, ancient, and premium, without glow effects or particle animations. The experience is focused on quick, readable gameplay and reliable progress saving across sessions.
