This is the exact app I was looking for to have an offline voice-to-text dictation without paying anything. Trying to find an open-source project, other apps like Handy seem to be for desktop only — only for Mac or Linux or Windows. But I was looking for an Android app similar to Whisper to talk into all I want without the extra subscription and instead uses a local model. It will take up about half a gigabyte or more of space on your phone to run local model and that's understandable.

This it up is great at what it does but has a few small caveats. It's a great alternative to things like whisper flow or super whisper as it does offline processing and on screen floating bubble, but you cannot do anything on the screen while using it, unlike the other apps, but I assume that will get fixed soon. Overall pretty good new app with lots of customization available.

I am using a Samsung S24 Ultra. The Wispr Flow Open Wispr button doesn't appear in: - Notepad Notes inside the Samsung browser - the ChatGPT app - the smart keyboard of Samsung, where we can add text and tab I think Open Whisper can be trained much more.

Absolutely perfect. I'm using it now to write this review. Clean animations, allows you to do everything on device so it doesn't go to the cloud. Love it.

this is amazing so far! I'll be honest the fact that this is an open source project I actually discovered it through my Gemini after recommendation because I was tired of paying for WhisperFlow. honestly keep it up!

It's almost too good to be true. It works better than the paid versions. However, I would like the option to close the pop-up screen that comes in the bottom. It gets in the way sometimes.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this app. It gives you the option to choose which transcription service and AI model to use for polishing. Absolutely fantastic. The installed transcription service and AI models are better than expected too. No need to use API keys for other services. It's that good. Also, digging the custom dictionary.

hi I want to say about this app that it is nice as a offline model it performs really well but the multilingual function is where I am having problem models are "only English" and it can't recognise or transcribe any other languages that is where I am having problem otherwise it transcribes well for english. if you can please try adding models which can understand multiple languages specially for Indian languages

Love the app. Using it now to dictate this review. Some feedback: I would like to customize the little circle to make it more transparent, smaller or less intrusive. Otherwise I love it and love how it's on device!
