Review summary

Experiences are mixed: some users successfully control lights and an air purifier, but recurring complaints focus on failed device pairing and unreliable connections. Several users say devices disconnect or need repeated resets. Schedule editing is blocked for some by controls hidden behind Android status-bar icons, and updates have reportedly introduced crashes or removed working functionality.

Pros

Some users report that the app works well for controlling lights, including changing their color, and for operating an air purifier.

Cons

Device setup and Wi-Fi pairing frequently fail, even when users follow the instructions.
Devices may disconnect, behave unpredictably, or require repeated resets and setup.
Some users report that schedules cannot be edited because app buttons are hidden behind Android status-bar icons.
Updates have reportedly caused crashes or made previously working features stop working.

New update blows. Why update something, while it was so simple to operate.

I cannot add any 1st generation Vocolinc devices using my pixel 10 pro and have to use my old iPhone 12 pro max just to add them to the Vocolinc app so it can sync with the cloud.

I followed the instructions to connect the smart plug but nothing happened

On my new phone, the done button for schedule sits on the top right corner of the status bar mingles with the power bar icon as a result I cannot changed the schedule any more. I have complained about it for a few months now, still no fix for it. Very disappointing.

absolutely useless

This was working perfectly. However,I had to reinstall and now I cannot get it to connect to my humidifier.

trash

5 star if you can update to a watch app also

The worst thing isn't that the app doesn't work to pair devices, it's the fact that their "delete account" feature, which you might think could be useful for a full reset doesn't lead to your account being deleted. If you create a new account, you'll just see the homes, rooms and devices from the account that was supposedly deleted. Time to open a GDPR complaint?

I have a light and it works very well I love it, the only downside is that once in a while my light will dim, so then I have to go back onto the app and reset it but other than that it works perfectly.
