Having a problem using my sign-in to get access

There needs to be a way to save your progress in case the app crashes. I was almost finished with a vehicle when I got kicked back to the start screen and had to start all over again. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed immediately. Drivers can't be wasting time fooling around with this. Thank you.
