Viking Boat Builder is an offline construction strategy game where you assemble a small longship and test whether the design can survive a specific voyage.
Choose the hull timber and sail rig, then adjust the number of protective shields and the cargo load with clear controls. Every choice changes the vessel’s speed, stability, durability, or weight before launch. When the build is ready, start the animated sea trial and use pause, resume, or restart controls when needed.
Your objective is to reach the contract’s required boat rating. The result combines speed, stability, hull durability, and how closely the selected cargo matches the target load. A design that is fast but unstable may fail rough water, while an overly heavy ship can lose too much speed.
Progress through 12 shipyard contracts with stronger wind, rougher waves, different cargo targets, and higher score goals. Successful trials earn one to three stars and silver, unlock the next contract, and fund permanent hull, sail, and rope upgrades. Your best rating, stars, progress, upgrades, and preferences remain available for later sessions.
