Epilepsiapp

The epilepsy app should make it easier for the user to understand their illness, get correct help for self-help and can also function as a support in contact with care. The goal is to improve care for patients with epilepsy and give patients more opportunity to take control of their disease themselves with digital aids.

By filling in your attacks, you can find patterns that in the long run can help both yourself and healthcare professionals to feel better. The app becomes a place to gather all the facts about your epilepsy. You can also enter which medicines you use. If you wish, you can then choose to follow up and evaluate the attacks together with healthcare staff.

The epilepsy app is free of charge and is aimed at you who are 16 years or older.

The epilepsy app was developed by the Västra Götaland region and the work with it has been carried out in collaboration between patient representatives, professions in neurology such as doctors, nurses and psychologists.
