Solari transforms your travel preparations into a personal departure board, inspired by the iconic split-flap displays of classic train stations. The app lets you capture every pre-departure task—whether it's packing, booking confirmations, or gathering documents—as a single prep. You can quickly assign each Prep a category, set a due date, and give it an initial status of pending, ready, or done. The Departures tab serves as your dashboard, presenting large amber flip-digit counters that show your total pending Preps and the number of days until your trip. Below the counters, the most urgent upcoming Preps appear in a concise list so you always know what needs attention next. Tapping the conductor's signal paddle icon instantly opens a form to add a new Prep without interrupting your flow. On the Board tab, all your preps are organized into clear status lanes—pending tasks displayed in white on black, ready ones in white on green flaps, and done items in white on dark gray—so you can scan your progress at a glance. There are no check marks anywhere, just the satisfying mechanical lettering of a departures board. When you save a new Prep, a brisk flap-flip animation and a short mechanical clatter confirm it has joined the board. Marking a Prep as done sends it quietly to the Closed tab, where you can review your completed tasks sorted by completion date. Everything you enter stays securely on your device using local storage only, so you can manage your entire pre-trip checklist offline without creating any accounts. Solari gives you the calm confidence of a station clock counting down, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks before you leave.
