Sign Smart lets you sign the documents for your property transaction securely from your phone, without printing, posting or visiting an office.

When your solicitor, conveyancer or broker sends you a document to sign, Sign Smart guides you through every step, from confirming who you are to adding your final signature.

HOW IT WORKS

Open your invite: tap the link in your email, enter your activation code and confirm your mobile number with a one-time passcode.
See your tasks: a simple checklist shows exactly what's needed from you and what's already done.
Review your document: read the full document and fill in any details it asks for before you sign.
Verify your identity: photograph your passport or driving licence and take a short selfie. It only takes a few minutes.
Sign: add your signature. Where your document needs it, you'll sign with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES), the highest standard of electronic signature.

BEFORE YOU START

• Sign Smart works with an invitation from the firm handling your transaction. If you haven't received one, please contact them.
• To verify your identity you'll need a valid passport or photo driving licence.
• Sign Smart uses your camera to photograph your ID document and take a selfie for identity verification.
