Velvet Sip Mobile P.O.S

Velvet Sip is an app designed specifically for elite bars, lounges, and high-end hospitality venues. However it is simple enough for a variety of small shops to find it useful. Customers can enter a business place, take a seat and order drinks and food while keeping an eye on their spending.
Authenticated customers can log into a business, browse menus, place orders and have an accurate view of their running tab.
Guests can then request a final settlement directly from their phone.
The app also keeps track of the type of tender the customer used to pay and it also offers a Loyalty program which the business owner can set up to reward loyal customers.

The administrative side of the app is a powerhouse of operational tools, accessible to users with Staff, Cashier, or Admin roles.

Live Queue:
A real-time prep station where bartenders and chefs see incoming orders. They can transition orders through workflow states (Start Prep -> Signal Ready -> Delivered).
Open Tabs
A centralized view of every guest currently in the building with an open balance. It highlights guests who have "Requested Settlement," allowing cashiers to finalize bills quickly.

Quick Sale (POS):
A dedicated staff-facing register for walk-in guests or manual entries. It supports split payments, manual discounts, and custom surcharges.

Inventory
A mobile-first inventory system. Staff can use the device’s camera as an optical barcode scanner to restock items. It includes "Low Stock" alerts and critical threshold management.
Admins can reorganize the menu structure, add sub-categories, and update pricing or stock levels on the fly.

Shift Registry
A rigorous cashier management system. Shifts must be "Opened" with a cash float and "Closed" with a reconciliation audit. Upon closing, the system generates a full text-based audit report that can be shared or printed.
Reports & AI Insights: This module provides deep dives into revenue, profitability, and tender breakdowns.

Security Matrix
A granular permission editor where Admins can toggle specific features (like "Inventory" or "Sales Reports") on or off for the "Staff" and "Cashier" roles.

Happy Hour
Allows Business Owners/Managers to launch 60-minute automated discount sessions. It supports global percentage discounts or specific volume deals like "BOGO" or "Buy 2 Get 1 Free."

Events Desk
A digital flyer board. Managers can upload event flyers and add comments. These appear prominently on the customer’s menu, keeping guests informed about tonight’s entertainment or future vents.

Hardware & Utility Integration
Bluetooth Printing: The app includes a native-like driver for ESC/POS Thermal Printers. It can pair with portable belt-clip printers or stationary counter printers to produce physical receipts.
