About LTSICON Event:

Liver transplantation in India has come a long way in the last 30 years. From an era when patients had to travel to the West to undergo transplantation, India is now the country with the world’s third largest number of liver transplants. Liver transplantation is now widely accepted amongst the medical fraternity, the public and policy makers. India is increasingly considered a leader in technical innovations in the field of living donor liver transplantation. Deceased donor liver transplantation-for long, the domain South and Western India, is being increasingly accepted in other parts of the country.

However, we all agree that there is a tremendous amount of work still to be done. We are now at a right point in our shared history to tackle more complex challenges such as increasing deceased donation, standardizing protocols, improving transparency, ensuring live donor safety and expanding public sector programs. The seventh annual meeting of the Liver Transplantation Society of India aims to set the course for the Indian liver transplant community to tackle these challenges. A galaxy of eminent national and international faculty will interact in a variety of session formats to stimulate discussions and provide future directions for growth.
The seventh annual meeting is hosted by Hyderabad- the City of Pearls. Spanning 400 years of a rich and diverse history, this Royal city has long been known for its hospitality, cuisine and old-world elegance. In its new avatar, Hyderabad is the technological hub of South India, alive with its multicultural inhabitants, sprawling urban infrastructure, booming economy and a cosmopolitan lifestyle. We hope you can join us in November 2024 for an academic and gastronomic feast!!
The Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI) organizes an annual conference each year in different cities in India, last year it was organized in the city of Jaipur. This year 2024, LTSI conference (LTSICON 2024, 7th annual conference) is going to be organized under the banner of Hyderabad HPB & LTP Society (Reg no:149 of 2024) on 29th, 30th November & 1st December 2024, at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), HITEC City, Hyderabad, India.
