About 98 Cards

98 Cards is an engaging single-player card game that challenges your strategy and quick thinking. You have a deck of 98 cards numbered 2 through 99. Your goal is to distribute all cards across four piles with specific rules: the top two piles must be in ascending order while the bottom two piles must be in descending order.

A unique twist lets you "shrink" piles by placing cards that differ by exactly 10 from the pile's top card regardless of order, adding a strategic layer to gameplay. Score points by placing cards quickly and efficiently; fewer remaining cards and faster moves yield higher scores.

Compete globally via Google Play Leaderboards and see how you rank against other players. Whether you're a fan of card games or seeking a challenging solo puzzle, 98 Cards delivers a fresh and addictive experience.

User Reviews

Users praise 98 Cards for being ad-free, quick to learn, and highly replayable. The rules are simple, but the game is deceptively challenging, balancing luck and strategy in short rounds that suit waiting rooms and long sessions alike. Many players have enjoyed it for years, noting its minimalist design and lack of intrusive prompts. Common requests include an undo option and a way to see how many cards remain, plus a few feature asks (dark mode, more undo options). A few reviewers also find the game very hard or frustrating, but still highly engaged overall.

Love this game! Really takes strategy and even some luck. Easy to learn.. harder to finish. Love that it's not bombarding me with ads, friends invites, Facebook posts etc.. i can play the game without worrying about running out of time, without it draining my battery and many other things other games do to invade your space and time. It's the way a game should be! Thanks Dev Keep up the great work.. *****UPDATE***** Still love the game and have finally gotten down to zero cards 3 times now.
