User Reviews

Users praise deep, deliberate deck-building, high replayability (multiple characters/starting decks), a strong mobile port with crossplay, addictive gameplay, and no microtransactions. Repeated criticisms are uneven difficulty tuning, mobile touch/usability issues, a lack of persistent progression between runs, a steep learning curve, and some minor UI/polish bugs.
Pros
  • Deep, strategic deck-building with more player control than similar games (often compared to Slay the Spire)
  • High replayability and variety — 4 characters with 3 starting decks each, many challenge runs and difficulty options
  • Well‑ported to mobile: smooth performance, touchscreen-friendly layout for many users, and easy Steam/mobile crossplay
  • Addictive, satisfying gameplay with snappy card interactions, good art/music, and lots of content to explore
  • No microtransactions; active developer support and an engaged community
Cons
  • Difficulty balance concerns — many say Normal is too easy while Hard/Impossible feels excessively punishing
  • Mobile touch/usability problems reported (mis-taps when purging/playing cards, occasional UI scaling/background display issues)
  • Lack of persistent progression or unlockable rewards between runs; finishing runs can feel unrewarding
  • Steep learning curve and many simultaneous effects/rules; card text/tooltips can be condensed and confusing to new players
  • Minor polish and animation/UI bugs remain (rough edges noted in multiple reviews)

Too many rules. It's hard to keep track of what's going on. There are way too many effects going on at once

Like slay the spire but with more control in building your deck, has 4 characters that each have 3 different starting decks to pick from and tons of challenge runs to play and with many difficulty settings to play from that make. Easy 5/5 for me, although i feel the game needs abit more content like maybe some new 1st enemy encounters and maybe a third floor would be cool, make it half the size but more streamlined with rewards and more elites, it could be a difficulty modifier.
