Alarm Vault: Photo Video Hider

Alarm Vault: Photo Video Hider is the ultimate application to hide and secure photos, videos, and private documents behind a fully functional alarm clock.

Add a robust layer of device-level privacy to your personal gallery files. Alarm Vault operates locally on your physical device, ensuring your hidden media, passcode hashes, and secret folders remain completely offline, secure, and under your direct control.

Your Privacy, Your Control

To any casual observer or nosey snooper, Alarm Vault looks and behaves exactly like a standard utility clock. You can even swap the app icon on your home screen dynamically to match the disguise, blending it in with your other system apps. Behind this public decoy dashboard lies a secure, encrypted safe-zone for your private photos, personal videos, and sensitive files.

If someone opens your phone, they will see nothing but a standard alarm utility—leaving them completely clueless about your locked private albums.

Key Features of Alarm Vault:

- Dynamic App Icon Disguise: Instantly swap the app icon on your home screen between a normal utility clock and the vault logo. You can toggle this disguise in the settings or setup wizard to keep the vault completely hidden from sight.

- Decoy Alarm Clock Dashboard: A fully functional alarm clock utility, timers, and stopwatches to maintain the app's secret identity.

- Secret Photo & Video Locker: Lock, encrypt, and hide your pictures, videos, and media files inside the app's private sandboxed database.

- Advanced File Organization: Simple mechanism to create custom folders, rename albums, and manage or delete files inside the vault.

- Quick Entry Option: Seamlessly access your secret panel by long-pressing or double-tapping the Alarm Logo icon at the top of the screen.

- Security Question Fallback: Set a local recovery question to safely reset your passcode PIN if forgotten.

- Dynamic Biometric Unlock: Support for fingerprint verification to enter your vault quickly and securely (if hardware is supported).

How Alarm Vault Works:

1. Install Alarm Vault from the Play Store.
2. Set your Master PIN passcode (4 to 8 digits) to secure your vault files.
3. Choose a recovery question and answer to allow local passcode resets.
4. Disguise the Launcher Icon: Choose to switch the home screen app icon during setup or under Settings to look like a normal clock utility.
5. Grant permissions to access your storage gallery so files can be imported and hidden.
6. Import files directly into your custom vault folders.
7. To Access Your Vault: Simply long-press or double-tap the Alarm Logo icon in the top-left of the alarm clock screen, then enter your PIN to unlock.
