Thiruvasagam - Lord Shiva

Thiruvasagam, also known as Tiruvacakam, is a revered collection of Tamil hymns composed by the 9th-century Shaivite poet Manikkavacakar. It forms the eighth volume of the Tirumurai, an important anthology in Tamil Shaiva Siddhanta tradition, containing 51 soulful compositions dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Though Manikkavasagar is not one of the 63 Saiva nayanars, he is part of the Nalvars along with Appar, Sambandhar, and Sundharar.
