Your ship went down in the green. The crew survived the crash. The planet did not let them survive the night.

Machine Gunner: Last Vanguard is a retro run-and-gun in the classic 16-bit style: run, jump, crouch and hold the trigger through 100 hand-shaped fronts across five alien lands - the Green Veil, the Hollow Barrows, the Dead Colony, Cryo Station and the Red Mire. Every front is built differently: sky roads, stairways, roofed gauntlets, spike bogs and fortress lines, under changing conditions like fog, storms that push against you, dusk and low gravity.

Every front ends at a boss, and no two bosses are alike. Five hand-made wardens guard the first lands; beyond them, one hundred bosses with their own bodies, attacks, summons and names wait behind the gate. They hunt you across the arena, and they fight harder when they are hurt.
