Features & Capabilities

UsA Chalk - USA126 is a vintage chalkboard-style watch face designed for Wear OS 4+ (API 33). It brings a classic hand-drawn look to modern smartwatches with customizable background and time colors, 12/24-hour modes, battery and steps readouts (steps can be swapped for weather or other complications), and three configurable app shortcuts. A specially designed Always On Display (ambient) mode preserves the chalkboard aesthetic while minimizing power use.

Compatible with Galaxy Watch 4/5/6/7/8 series, Pixel Watch series, and other devices running Wear OS 4 or newer. Installation requires the same Google account on phone and watch; once installed, add and customize the face from the watch face list or the customize menu. Live support and community discussion are available on the developer's Telegram group.

User Reviews

Users consistently praise the minimal, gorgeous design and customization options, and say the face works well once it is installed. However, many report serious installation problems on Samsung watches, including apps that show as installed but never appear on the watch, endless installing states, and repeated purchase prompts or double charges. Others criticize the font, where 4 resembles 1, and complication slots that duplicate or disappear. Overall sentiment is mixed: strong on looks, weak on reliability.

Pros

Gorgeous, minimal, and unique watch face design praised by many users
Good customization options and functional once installed and synced
Works well after troubleshooting, such as restarting the watch or retrying the install

Cons

Installation frequently fails on Samsung watches, even after payment
Watch forces repeated purchases or shows installed apps that never appear on the watch
Font makes 4 look like 1, making the time hard to read at a glance
Complications duplicate or go missing when set up with multiple functions
