■Fujinoki Tumulus (historic site)
Fujinoki Tumulus is a round tomb built in the latter half of the 6th century with a diameter of over 50m.It is a large horizontal stone chamber with a total length of about 14m, with a vermilion-painted hollow house-shaped sarcophagus. There is a ``Shikiiegata Sekikan''. Among the excavated items (national treasures), the gilt-bronze horse harness is particularly exquisite, and inside the unpiloted sarcophagus, many jewels and richly decorative items were found. Grave goods such as long swords, swords, gilt-bronze crowns, and sandals have been unearthed, showing the tremendous power of the buried person.
