Union Of Professional Nurses And Midwives, Ghana (UPNMG) Mobile App is the official digital platform for members of the Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives, Ghana. Designed to support the financial welfare and everyday needs of nurses and midwives, the app provides secure access to loans, hire purchase services, member support, and union resources anytime and anywhere.

UPNMG is a duly registered trade union and company limited by guarantee in Ghana, registered with the Registrar General's Department on December 14, 2017. We proudly serve over 36,000 nurses and midwives across Ghana through welfare programs, financial support services, advocacy, and member engagement..

PERSONAL LOAN TERMS
UPNMG offers welfare loans exclusively to registered members under the following terms:
• Available repayment periods: 6, 12, 18, 24, or 36 months
• Minimum repayment period: 6 months
• Maximum repayment period: 36 months
• Interest rate: 11% per annum
• Maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 11%
• No hidden processing or administration charges
• Flexible repayment options available
• Early repayment allowed without penalties

Representative Example (Personal Loan)
A member who borrows GHS 2,000 for a 12-month term at 11% per annum will pay:
• Borrowed amount: GHS 2,000
• Interest at 11% per annum: GHS 220
• Total amount repayable: GHS 2,220
• Approximate monthly payment: GHS 185

The borrower may make early repayments at any time, which can reduce the total interest payable.

HIRE PURCHASE TERMS
UPNMG provides hire purchase facilities to help members acquire essential products and household items with convenient repayment plans.
• Available repayment periods: 3, 6, 12, or 18 months
• Markup rate: 10%
• Flexible monthly repayment structure
• Transparent pricing with no hidden charges

Representative Example (Hire Purchase)
For a product worth GHS 2,000 acquired over 12 months at a 10% markup:
• Product price: GHS 2,000
• Markup at 10%: GHS 200
• Total amount repayable: GHS 2,200
• Approximate monthly payment: GHS 183.33
