Price Checker is an app that instantly compares the lowest price on Rakuten Market with the in-store price simply by scanning the product's barcode with your smartphone camera.

Quickly create a list with continuous scanning, and sort by store or by best deal compared to Rakuten with a single tap.

It's easy to use for everything from daily shopping to product research across multiple stores.

■ Main Features

【1】Continuous barcode scanning with camera
Simply point your camera at the product, and it automatically reads the JAN code.

No button operation is required, and you can scan multiple products consecutively. You can also switch the flashlight on/off.

【2】Automatic acquisition of the lowest price on Rakuten Market
The app automatically displays the lowest price on Rakuten for the scanned product.

It displays individual item prices and set sale prices separately, so you can see the true best deal.

[3] Enter Store Price and Display Difference
Tap the product card and enter the store price to automatically calculate the difference with Rakuten.
Green indicates the store is cheaper, red indicates Rakuten is cheaper—you can see at a glance.

[4] Manage Products in a List
Scanned products are saved to a list and can be checked later.
It can be used as a comparison list while shopping, a past purchase history, and a research note when visiting stores.
You can leave free notes for each product, so you can use it according to your needs, such as breakdown, expiration date, or points of interest.

[5] One-Tap to Rakuten Product Page
Jump to the Rakuten product page instantly for products you're interested in.
You can check reviews and stock status.

[6] Quickly Find Products with Search and Sort
Refine your search by product name, notes, store name, and barcode number.
Supports multiple sorting options, such as newest first, lowest store price, and best deal compared to Rakuten.
"Best deal compared to Rakuten" sorts products by price, with stores being cheaper than Rakuten, making it convenient when you want to quickly find bargains.

[7] Swipe to Delete and Undo
To delete unwanted items, swipe the card to the left.
Even if you accidentally delete something, you can restore the most recent item using the undo button.

[8] Check Scan Location on Map
Scan location information is recorded for each item (optional).
You can access the store's location in a map app using the "Map 📍" button.

■ Privacy Policy

* User data such as scan history, in-store price, and location information is stored only on the device and is not transmitted to external servers.
* The camera is used only for barcode reading; images are not saved.
* Only the barcode number is sent to Rakuten Web Services to obtain product information (no personally identifiable information is transmitted).
* This app displays advertisements by Google AdMob. AdMob handles advertising IDs, device information, and approximate location information for ad delivery in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
