MapMinder

MapMinder lets you add reminders for the next time you visit a place or are near an given way point on your daily journeys.

You click on a location on the map, and add a reminder about what you need to do there. Next time you are nearby that location, MapMinder will give you an alert to let you know that you have a reminder for here.

For example, next time you go to the shops, you might want a reminder to pick up some bread, milk, or maybe some flowers for your partner. MapMinder can help you remember to do these things.

MapMinder needs some permission and information from you to work correctly. We need to be able to run in the background so we can periodically get your location information to check against your reminders, and obviously, we also need your location data. With these two things, we can give you reminders!

MapMinder doesn't store any of the location data elsewhere, nor do we store your reminders anywhere besides your device. In the future, we will be looking at allowing users to create accounts to share their data across multiple devices and platforms.
